FT Digital Solutions ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related digital services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Who we are

FT Digital Solutions is a technology company based in Escazú, San José, Costa Rica. We design, develop, and maintain custom digital tools, corporate applications, and automation solutions for businesses.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with our Services, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact and identity information: name, email address, phone number, job title, company, and industry when you contact us or request a demo.
  • Account information: credentials and profile details if you create or are assigned an account in one of our applications.
  • Camera and media: photos, videos, and other media files you capture with the device camera or select from your device gallery/media library when using app features that require them.
  • Usage and device information: app interactions, crash logs, device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, and approximate location derived from network data.
  • Communications: messages you send us through WhatsApp, forms, email, or in-app support channels.
  • Content you provide: files, records, or business data you voluntarily upload or enter into our applications as part of their intended use.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve our Services and applications.
  • Enable camera and media features so you can capture, upload, attach, store, and display photos, videos, or other media within the app for its intended business purpose.
  • Respond to inquiries, schedule demos, and offer customer support.
  • Authenticate users, manage accounts, and ensure the security of our platforms.
  • Monitor performance, diagnose technical issues, and prevent fraud or abuse.

  • Send service-related notices. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Mobile applications (Google Play)

When you download or use our mobile applications distributed through Google Play, we may process data necessary for the app to function, including account access, operational records relevant to the app’s purpose, and technical diagnostics.

Our applications may request access to your device camera and to photos/media on your device. Camera access is used to take pictures or videos within the app. Media/gallery access is used so you can select and upload existing photos, videos, or files needed for app features. We access camera and media only after you grant the corresponding permission, and only when you use those features.

You can revoke camera or media permissions at any time in your device settings. If you deny or revoke these permissions, features that depend on capturing or uploading media may not work.

We only request permissions that are reasonably required for the features of each application. Our apps are intended for business and authorized users. If an app is provided by your employer or organization, that organization may control accounts and the business data processed within the app, including media you upload.

5. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable, we process personal data based on one or more of the following: your consent; the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps; our legitimate interests in operating and improving secure business services; and compliance with legal obligations.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers that help us host, maintain, analyze, or support the Services, under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Your organization or employer, when the Services are provided under a business relationship with them.
  • Authorities or third parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or corporate reorganization, subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the Service and the nature of the data.

8. Data security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we continuously work to improve our safeguards.

9. International transfers

Our Services may be hosted or supported using infrastructure and providers located in Costa Rica or other countries. When we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps intended to ensure an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in this Policy. If your account is managed by your employer or organization, please contact them first, as they may be the primary controller of your business data.

11. Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

12. Third-party links and services

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party tools (for example, WhatsApp or LinkedIn). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing personal information.
